The ball may be thrown in any direction with one or both hands.The ball may be batted in any direction with one or both hands.
Travelling:
A player cannot run with the ball. The player must throw it from the spot on which he catches it, allowance to be made for a man who catches the ball when running at a good speed if he tries to stop. While making a shot the person can only move two steps by taking a shot.
Dribbling
Once you dribble the ball u cannot catch it. If you do catch the ball then you must either shoot or pass to a teammate. If u dribble again,it will be a double dribble violation and you will loose possession.
Basketball is easy to play. Just know these rules and a bit practice and you play.
